General Manager Ibrahima Doumbia was delighted with this partnership, which will enhance the image of Côte d'Ivoire and strengthen the notoriety of Ivorian football.

For Ibrahima Doumbia, GESTOCI as a corporate citizen, is committed to supporting the FIF for the final phase of the 34th African Cup of Nations (CAN) in January-February 2024 but also for the Olympic Games qualifiers (OJ ) of Paris 2024 and the 2026 World Cup.

Regarding the CAN which will take place in Côte d'Ivoire, GESTOCI promises fan zones in several places both in Abidjan and Yamoussoukro. In order to allow supporters to follow the event as if they were present in the stadiums hosting the competitions.

"By signing this new partnership, we are advocating the cardinal values of excellence in football and the oil sector...in line with the vision of the President of the Republic, which is to make our country the oil hub of Africa west and center," said the Director General.

Finally, he wished a fruitful adventure to the partnership like that of 2014-2019 which allowed Côte d'Ivoire to win its second CAN and said he was sure that this new union bodes well for the next CAN organized in Côte d'Ivoire. of ivory.
“Thank you all and very good luck to our Elephants in all the competitions to come,” he said.

FIF President Idriss Diallo said that this new lease is the mark of trust between the Federation and GESTOCI, which is a "strategic partner" of his institution.
To meet future challenges, he promised to work with "rigor, seriousness and selflessness" to bring the national team as far as possible, with the support of sponsors like GESTOCI.

“What you build internally in terms of organization, rigour, projects, vision, we have to show it externally in terms of visibility. The Ivorian Federation is an ideal partner,” he promised his hosts.
The partnership between GESTOCI and the FIF began in 2006 with the World Cup under the Jacques Anouma era and continued over the period 2014-2019, with the COMEX of Sidi Diallo.

The other good news of this partnership is the appointment of the Head of Communication and Public Relations of GESTOCI, Ben Konaté as a member of the Marketing, Communication and Media Commission of the FIF and of Mr. Abissa Serge, Vice-President of the Corporate Football Development Commission.
